About Loo Roll League

Loo Roll League is a small, independent UK site that answers one question well: what does toilet roll really cost per sheet?

Why we started

Pack sizes, "mega rolls", "50% more sheets" and double-length rolls make it almost impossible to compare loo roll on the shelf. Eco brands add another layer: they're delivered, so postage changes the maths. We do the sums so you don't have to.

How we check prices

• Every price comes from the retailer's or brand's own product page, which we link to.
• We record the pack price, rolls, sheets per roll and ply exactly as shown, plus the standard delivery charge for that pack on its own.
• If we can't verify a figure, we leave the product out rather than estimate it.
• Every page shows the date we last checked prices. We aim to re-check weekly.

What we don't do

• We don't accept payment for rankings. The table is sorted by price only.
• We don't make health or plumbing claims. Where brands make claims, we quote them and say so.
